About Adela's Angels

Adela's Angels is about a breast cancer survivor, Dr. Adela Ames and her Angels of family, friends, and supporters who have assisted her throughout her 15 year survivorship journey.  Dr. Ames was diagnosed in 2006 with Stage 0 - Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (cancer in the milk ducts).  She had a lumpectomy and recommendation of hormonal therapy medication, Tamoxifen for 5 years.  Since her diagnosis and survivorship, Dr. Ames has been on a journey with her Angels to recognize, support, and honor all of her "Sisters/Brothers in the Fight" and more importantly giving back to those in need.

Adela's Angels assist with support care for cancer patients during chemotherapy treatments, visits in hospitals and homes, and provide meals, and prescription deliveries.  Dr. Ames and her team are available for speaking engagements (virtual or in-person) as well as providing educational sessions in bereavement or support groups.
